World
Since 2002, The World has continuously circumnavigated the globe, spending extensive time in the most exotic and well-traveled ports, allowing its residents to wake up in a new unique destination every few days.
At 644 feet, The World is the largest privately owned yacht on the planet. Residents own one or more of the 165 private onboard Residences and collectively own the ship, ensuring that their experiences – both onboard and off – are far beyond current luxury travel standards.
Owners thirst for adventure is not only satisfied by the ships travel itineraries, which each owner has a voice in creating each year, but by also by special, in-depth expeditions and unique Enrichment Programs. When you own one of only 165 Residences aboard The World, you are able to travel the world without leaving home
2013 Journey
2013 begins in the warmth of the Caribbean and northern South America. An Atlantic crossing in February brings you to the diverse terrain and scenic beauty of the Canary Islands and the signature domes and archways of Morocco. You’ll explore in depth the less traveled ports of Europe and the west coast of Ireland, a first-ever trip for The World. An exciting White Sea Expedition will include stops rarely visited by anyone other than serious explorers. And after exploration of the Black Sea and the Middle East, you’ll welcome the New Year amidst the lush hillsides of Madeira.
Ownership opportunities on The World Residences at Sea are limited to those individuals with a personal net worth of $10,000,000 dollars or more.
